Pervez Ahmed Securities Limited is a company of the D.S Group. The D.S. Group has an experience of more than three decades in textile business. It comprises of spinning facility of more than 59,000 spindles and vertical knitted garments production facility of more than 500 stitching machines with a production capacity of approximately 10,000 garments per day. The Group has diversified products from hosiery and yarn of all counts to woven and hosiery fabric and apparel in its Group companies. This also includes D.S. Industries, a listed company with a paid up capital of PKR 300 million and a free float of 10.5 million shares, trading at PKR 24.95/- per share as at the close of business on March 27, 2007.

Other main group companies include D.S. Textiles Limited established in 1990 as a spinning & knit wear unit, D.S. Apparel (Pvt) Limited incorporated in 2000 as an knit wear unit and D.S. Power Limited formed in 1995 as a power generation unit. Further, D.S. Corporation (Pvt.) Limited and Javed Ahmed Export Corporation (Pvt) Ltd were established in 1975 for the apparel and export of hand knotted carpets respectively. The major sponsors of these companies are Mr. Javed Ahmed, Mr. Pervez Ahmed, Mr. Ali Pervez Ahmed, Mr. Hasan Ibrahim Ahmed and Mr. Suleman Ahmed. In addition to these, the Group also consists of two sole proprietorship entities by the name of Fiza Textiles (owned by Mr. Pervez Ahmed) and Mausummery Lawn
